Stride invests more in educator development than any other early learning group in WA. Real career pathways, qualified support onsite, and a workplace built around the people who do the work. If you're ready for the next step, we'd like to meet you.
You've heard "we're like family" enough times. Stride is not your family. Stride is a professionally run organisation that takes early childhood education seriously, treats educators as professionals, and pays you to grow.
Stride Academy is a real pathway from Student Educator to Centre Director, with TAFE and university partnerships, recognised qualifications, and a clear next step at every level. Not a poster on the wall. A program.
Speech pathologists and OTs are part of our team, in your room, every week. Less complex caseloads for you. Better outcomes for the children. The first model of its kind in WA.
We exceed the national quality framework, in writing, and we hold ourselves accountable to standards we publish openly. If you've ever worked somewhere that claimed to be excellent without proving it, you'll feel the difference here.
Stride Academy is the reason educators choose us, and the reason they stay. A documented pathway from Student Educator to Centre Director, with the training, partnerships, and recognition to back it up.

where many of our directors started: stage 01The job is hard. Children are demanding, parents are anxious, and the regulatory load is real. Here's what we do to make the work sustainable, instead of pretending it isn't work.
We staff to the regulatory ratios and run buffers above them. Educators aren't covering each other's lunch breaks alone.
Speech pathologists, OTs, and behaviour support are part of the team. You're not the only one figuring out a child's needs.
Educators raise concerns the same way parents do. Confidential, actioned, reported back. Your voice doesn't disappear into HR.
Time and money for training. The Stride Educator Awards recognise it publicly. Growth isn't expected on your own time.
Your Director runs the centre, not a regional manager who's never met your room. Decisions are made by people who know your work.
Above-award where qualifications justify it. Transparent banding. No "we'll see in a year" conversations.
A first conversation is just that — a conversation. No pressure, no panel interview, no recruitment hoop. We'd like to know who you are and what you're looking for, and we'd like to show you what we've built. The rest follows from there.
From first conversation to first day, here's exactly how it works.
A short form, not an application. Tell us who you are, what stage you're at, and what you're looking for. We'll come back to you within two business days.
A first conversation with a Centre Director near you. Not a formal interview. An honest chat about your career and whether it's a fit. You'll meet at least one current educator from the centre.
If it's a fit on both sides, we'll move to a formal offer. Pay band, role, centre, start date, all transparent, all in writing. You decide what works for your life.
Tell us a little about your situation and a Centre Director will be in touch within two business days. No recruitment scripts, no agency middlemen. Just an honest first conversation about where you're at and what we've built.
