Stride to Speak Up is our commitment to action — not silence. Because real safety comes from a culture that listens, learns, and leads.
A proactive culture of safety, trust and accountability.
At Stride Early Learning, we believe child safety isn’t a message — it’s a mindset.
Stride to Speak Up is an initiative we’ve been building over many months. It empowers every team member — from educators to kitchen staff — to speak up about anything they see: from safety risks to improvement ideas.
Using a secure, confidential platform, our people can raise concerns early — so small things don’t become big problems, and every voice can shape a safer future.
Whether you’re a current family or exploring early learning for the first time, know this:
At Stride, safety isn’t just assumed — it’s constantly strengthened.
Stride has partnered with an independent platform so staff can report concerns confidentially, anonymously, or in their own name. Every report is logged, reviewed, and addressed — with full oversight and transparency.
Each centre has a nominated Speak Up Rep — a trained team member who represents staff in quarterly forums and ensures information flows both ways.
Senior leaders meet every quarter with Speak Up Reps from every centre to review reports, take action, and improve systems. Where appropriate, families are informed of high-level themes and outcomes.
Parents and carers are kept in the loop — with updates, posters, and open communication. If a concern is raised about your child, you’ll be included through the appropriate channels.
Whether you’re a long-time Stride parent or just starting your early learning journey, here’s what Stride to Speak Up means for your family:
